About the role
•Design, deliver, support and maintain enterprise integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA, SAP cloud platforms and non-SAP applications using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, APIM, Event Mesh).
•Design integration architectures and integration patterns that are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and SAP Clean Core principles.
•Develop and govern APIs, interfaces and integration services, promoting reuse, standardisation and effective lifecycle management across the ERP landscape.
•Produce and maintain integration documentation, including solution designs, interface specifications and support procedures.
•Maintain awareness of industry trends and SAP Business Technology Platform innovations, identifying opportunities to improve integration services and business outcomes.
•Troubleshooting: Supports the analysis and resolution of technical issues and failures, and takes a leading role in managing emergency issues.
•Provides support to the Integration services provided by the Application Managed Services provider to ensure an effective and efficient support structure and process is maintained.
•Supports Change Management activities for Integration and participates in Change Advisory Board processes as required.
•Adheres to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and processes to support compliance and audit requirements
Duties & Responsibilities

Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in SAP integration roles.
- Experience leading the architecture, design and end to end implementation of integration patterns.
- Proven experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP and non SAP systems in complex enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management (APIM) and Event Mesh.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, events, messaging, synchronous vs asynchronous).
- Knowledge of event-driven and message-based architectures.
- Experience with security concepts including OAuth 2.0, certificates, SAML, and role-based access.
- Experience with data formats such as JSON, XML, XSD and message mappings.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging and alerting within SAP BTP tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, explain integration. concepts to non technical people and build strong relationships within a cross-functional team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- SAP certifications in SAP BTP, Integration Suite or S/4HANA (desirable).
