About the role
The Digital Transformation & DSC Enablement Lead is responsible for supporting the establishment, integration and ongoing maturity of the Digital Solutions Centre (DSC).
The role acts as a key partner to the Head of Digital Solutions Centre and the Digital Office to implement the global Digital operating model, coordinate strategic initiatives, establish effective governance, enable workforce growth and foster a strong and connected Digital culture within the DSC.
The role serves as the primary integration point between DSC, the Digital Office, Digital Leadership Team (DLT), capability leaders and key corporate functions to ensure alignment to Woodside Digital strategy, standards, governance frameworks and ways of working.
The position enables efficient Digital operations through reporting, compliance, budgeting, procurement, capability management, workforce planning and strategic execution. It translates strategy into practical outcomes and supports the successful scaling of the DSC as a global Digital capability hub
The role also supports commercial arrangements for staff augmentation, coordinates DSC integration and delivery cadences, and drives execution of the DSC Strategic Roadmap
Duties & Responsibilities
Operating Model & Transformation
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the global Digital operating model within the DSC.
- Act as the DSC counterpart to the Digital Office, ensuring alignment to Digital standards, governance, strategic direction and global processes.
- Coordinate transition activities supporting DSC capability growth, organisational effectiveness, ways of working and operational maturity.
Strategy & Planning
- Lead cross-functional programs and applies local context to implement the DSC Strategic Roadmap based on objectives and priorities set by Digital leadership.
- Translate strategic objectives into practical initiatives, execution plans and measurable OKRs.
- Take ownership of strategic initiatives from concept through execution, monitoring progress, risks, dependencies, outcomes and benefits realisation.
- Support annual planning, objective setting and business prioritisation, ensuring DSC initiatives remain aligned with Digital and enterprise objectives.
Commercial & Vendor Management
- Develop and support commercial arrangements for staff augmentation and service provider engagements in Bengaluru.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal and Commercial teams to establish and operationalise fit-for-purpose supplier contracts through governance, performance management and review cadences.
- Support workforce planning, resource forecasting and productive relationships with service providers and strategic partners.
Governance & Business Operations
- Establish and coordinate governance forums, reporting frameworks and operational cadences that support Digital delivery.
- Coordinate DSC reporting, budgeting, procurement, compliance and operational planning activities.
- Monitor organisational risks, decisions, dependencies and actions, ensuring appropriate escalation and delivery momentum.
- Provide operational leadership support and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance organisational performance and efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
- Provide program leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, aligning stakeholders around shared objectives and outcomes without direct authority.
- Build strong relationships with DLT members, capability leads and corporate functions, acting as a trusted advisor and liaison between DSC and the Digital Office.
- Influence stakeholders across regions to support leadership communications, organisational alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
- Represent DSC interests within Digital governance and coordination forums.
Culture, Engagement & Organisational Effectiveness
- Act as a culture influencer and champion of Woodside values within the DSC.
- Support onboarding, integration, engagement and organisational change activities that strengthen employee experience and connectivity.
- Foster collaboration between Perth, Houston and Bengaluru teams and promote Digital ways of working.
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience establishing or scaling shared services, global capability centres or Digital organisations; oil & gas experience preferred.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, programs or portfolios involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Self-starter with a strong bias for action, ownership and accountability, and a proven ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous environments.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated commercial, contracting and vendor management experience.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into execution plans, OKRs and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience delivering business transformation, organisational change and strategic initiatives within complex global organisations and cross-regional teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills, including engagement with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong communication, facilitation and organisational skills with the ability to drive alignment and outcomes through influence rather than formal authority.
- Delivery-focused individual with a strong execution mindset and experience in organisational design, process improvement and workforce enablement.
